By sharing the stories of dads on the other side of divorce, we hope to give strength to dads during this difficult time and let them know they will make it through to the other side, too,” Stern and Farkas explained. Moving forward, they “hope to build a supportive community of dads helping, guiding and advising dads going through divorce. We plan on providing resources, ideas and much more.

June is all about celebrating dads! Meet Ben & Yoel, host of the Too Dad to Quit Podcast. They are two dedicated dads on the other side of the divorce. Realizing how difficult it was to rebuild after divorce, Ben and Yoel help and inspire divorced and divorcing men to persevere as dads, spouses, partners, and any other role they may find themselves in.

He said he was excited to start the podcast, to offer help to those who are going through similar circumstances.

“The point is to show that while there is pain, there is a lot left to do in your life,” Farkas said, adding that a number of friends had good intentions but had given him unhelpful advice.“The religious community is built on couples. Some take sides unfortunately, and in other cases, you don’t have anything in common with [old friends] anymore.”

He said people should be honest about what happened, but not be too harsh on themselves.

Ben and Yoel join us to speak about life after divorce and helping men find their safe space. Both Ben and Yoel are divorced and they share their experiences. We speak about their thoughts during the divorce and how it may differ after it. Ben shares the difficulties many men face handling divorce.
